Hi and welcome to Twice Blessed! My name is Ariana Brielle and I created this blog to showcase one of my many passions which is beauty. I currently have a YouTube channel where I post a variety of videos focused on my lifestyle, but mainly hair and makeup.
I started getting into makeup about my freshman year of high school. As I started watching more tutorials and trying different things out for myself, I grew a love and a passion for all things beauty. I decided to start my YouTube channel during my sophomore year of college because many people would tell me, “your makeup looks so good, how do you do it?” I started YouTube to showcase my skills and help other people learn to do their hair and makeup because to my surprise, I learned that many people have no idea how to do their makeup.
You may be wondering why I decided to title my blog ‘Twice Blessed’ and I’m going to tell you. Although I enjoy doing makeup and teaching others how to do their makeup and hair as well, I don’t want people to only embrace what they look like after all of the glitz and glamour is done. I want people to look in the mirror with their hair and makeup SLAYED and say “DAMN, I look good.” I also want them to take it all off, and look in the mirror with a bare face and natural hair and say, “damn i STILL look good.” I want them to feel like they were Twice Blessed. Blessed once because they are beautiful naturally, and twice because they are beautiful with makeup. I am all for empowerment and I am also all for embracing natural beauty. That is why I have a youtube channel where I show both sides of myself, the before and the after. Throughout this blog, I will also incorporate my own YouTube videos and continue to share with you all as I explore new methods and dive deeper into the world or beauty. I also hope to gain new knowledge and skills, and explore my creative side a little bit more. Overall, I hope that you will enjoy seeing me display my art and maybe get inspired to try some looks at home yourself!

Hello Ariana, do you know how to braid? I follow a lot of YouTube videos in checking out different styles. I totally like your idea of twice blessed, it is inspirational. I thought about starting a youtube channel of my own, do you have any advice?

Hi, I actually do not know how to braid. That is a skill I have yet to master. As far as advice for starting your own youtube channel, I tell everyone that the only way to start is to just do it. I also advise to do something that you are passionate about because it was very time consuming and if you don’t do it passionately, you will get tired and overwhelmed very quickly. Good luck on starting your own channel! It’s awesome!
