Now you may or may not have heard of this new social media app that is taking up people’s free time all over the world. TikTok started out as an app called “Musical.ly” where a predominantly younger user base would post videos of themselves dancing and lip-syncing to various songs. The app name was eventually changed to TikTok and the company grew exponentially. Now people all over the world, young, old, and even celebrities are hopping on the trend and participating in these fun and catchy challenges.
One challenge that has recently gone viral is one created by user @lanelogue. It has caught the attention of makeup fanatics all over and is quite fun and satisfying to watch if I do say so myself. This is the way the challenge goes…
- First, you choose your favorite eyeshadow palette.
- Count how many shades are in the palette and write them on pieces of paper.
- Throw all of the paper numbers in a bag and mix it up.
- Randomly pull out 3 pieces of paper.
- Create a makeup look using the 3 random colors you chose.
Not only is this challenge fun to participate in, but it is also fun to watch the thousands of other woman who participated create insane makeup looks. If you are bored at home from social distancing, download TikTok and give this makeup challenge a try. However, beware because once you download the app, it is hard to delete.
